Job Summary

As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a central role in protecting the IT infrastructure of the German Pension Insurance provider. Your daily responsibilities include monitoring IT infrastructure using SIEM systems, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, and coordinating incident response efforts in collaboration with the CERT-DRV and internal departments. You will also be responsible for optimizing SOC processes and playbooks while maintaining the security systems themselves. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate security assessments clearly to management. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification; IT Security Manager certification required.

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience as an IT systems administrator
  • Professional experience in IT security management and forensic evidence preservation
  • Experience working within regulatory frameworks such as BSI IT-Grundschutz and GDPR
