Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer and Authorized Inspector at ETA Siemer, you will play a critical role in ensuring workplace and electrical safety. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting independent inspections of electrical systems, safety power supplies, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and alarm systems in accordance with state building regulations (LBO) and VdS Clause 3602. You will be responsible for creating legally compliant inspection reports, developing testing concepts, and providing expert consultation on technical standards and requirements. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Safety Engineering, Utility Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or related technical fields.
  • Professional experience in conducting inspections of electrical systems or safety-critical installations.
  • Experience or willingness to obtain certification as an authorized inspector for LBO or VdS safety systems.
  • Desirable: Additional qualifications in lightning protection, electrical thermography, explosion protection, network analysis, or EMC.
