Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer and Certified Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring safety and compliance across various facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting independent inspections of electrical systems, safety power supplies, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems in accordance with state building regulations (LBO) and VdS Clause 3602. You will be responsible for creating legally compliant inspection reports, developing testing concepts, and acting as a technical consultant for clients regarding normative requirements. This role is unique because it combines high-level engineering expertise with a mission-driven approach to workplace safety. You will serve as a brand ambassador for quality, working in a structured environment with modern digital tools. Candidates should possess a strong background in electrical or building services engineering, a solid understanding of relevant technical standards, and the ability to communicate complex safety requirements effectively. The position offers a permanent contract, regional travel with a company vehicle, and a supportive team environment focused on professional growth and safety excellence.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Safety Engineering, or Supply Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or related technical fields.
  • Professional experience in conducting inspections of electrical and safety-critical systems.
  • Experience or readiness to obtain certification as a Prüfsachverständiger (LBO) or VdS-Sachverständiger.
  • Ideally, experience with specialized technical areas such as lightning protection, thermography, explosion protection, or EMC.
