Job Summary

This role involves working within the Research and Early Development (RED) division at Roche Diagnostics in Penzberg. As a Scientist or Engineer, you will be responsible for the independent planning, execution, and documentation of complex analytical procedures, specifically focusing on HPLC and ESI-Mass Spectrometry. A core part of your day-to-day will involve developing and optimizing new analytical methods, performing validations, and managing method transfers between departments. You will also be tasked with the maintenance and qualification of laboratory instrumentation. The position requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to manage complex projects while adhering to strict quality guidelines and SOPs. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. A Doctorate is welcomed but not mandatory.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in analytical procedures and test development in biochemical, biological, or medical fields.
  • Experience gained during Master's or doctoral studies is considered relevant professional experience.

  • Must be able to work in Penzberg, Germany. This is a temporary contract (Befristet) through an agency (Franz & Wach) with the potential for transition to a direct Roche contract.
