Job Summary

In this role, you will work within the Roche Diagnostics production environment in Penzberg to manufacture high-quality products for in vitro diagnostics. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve executing production orders, implementing new processes and products, and managing GMP-related tasks such as handling deviations, CAPAs, and OOS cases. You will also be responsible for process improvements, scale-ups, and the technical documentation including SOPs and HVs. This position is unique as it offers a strategic entry point into the pharmaceutical industry through a recruitment agency partnership with Roche, focusing on professional development and potential long-term hiring. You will collaborate with a team to troubleshoot technical issues, ensure workplace safety, and contribute creative solutions to optimize production workflows. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Technician (Techniker), or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry or a comparable field. Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Plant Operator with extensive professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in organic chemistry, both theoretical and practical
  • Experience in production or laboratory operations under GMP conditions
  • Experience in analytical and preparative chromatography
  • Knowledge of HPLC, ideally within solid-phase synthesis
  • Relevant professional experience if holding a vocational qualification (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Technician)
