Required Skills

Education

Completed Bachelor's degree in natural sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biomedicine, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology) OR completed vocational training as a Chemical/Biological Lab Technician, CTA, BTA, or MTA.

Experience

  • 3-4 years of professional experience in a laboratory setting for candidates with a vocational qualification (e.g., CTA, BTA, MTA, Chemical/Biological Lab Technician)
  • Professional experience in laboratory work is required for all candidates
  • Experience with human biological material is considered an asset
  • Experience in the development of Point-of-Care (POC) diagnostic systems is considered an asset
  • Professional experience as a Bachelor graduate is considered an asset
