Job Summary
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operation of advanced data center cooling infrastructure, including Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx) and InRow cooling systems. You will serve as the primary technical contact at customer sites across Germany and Europe, working both in small teams and independently. Your day-to-day involves hands-on mechanical and electrical work, including pipework, pressure testing, and troubleshooting control systems. This role is ideal for a practical, hands-on problem solver who enjoys travel and working in high-pressure, mission-critical environments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical field service, ideally within the data center or industrial sector
- Practical experience in mechanical or electrical installation and maintenance
- Experience with control systems and electronics is considered a plus
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license, valid passport for international travel, high willingness to travel (including multi-week assignments across Europe), and ability to work in hyperscaler/colocation environments.
