Job Summary

The Waterways and Shipping Authority (WSA) Elbe-North Sea is seeking a State-Certified Technician to join a project team focused on the sustainable renovation and new construction of operational buildings. In this role, you will work alongside architects and engineers to manage building projects from planning through to completion. Your daily responsibilities include preparing design and tender documents for building automation, HVAC, fire protection, and IT infrastructure, as well as overseeing construction sites, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with technical standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who values sustainable construction and is looking to contribute to vital public infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

State-certified technician (Staatlich geprüfte Technikerin / Techniker) in building technology, building services engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and executing renovation and new construction projects with a focus on structural engineering and technical building systems.
  • Experience in construction supervision and project documentation.
  • Experience in managing and billing construction projects.

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to operate official vehicles. Must be a tariff employee (TVöD) for external applicants. Subject to German public sector employment regulations.
