Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineering Expert at TÜV SÜD, you will play a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability across various technical infrastructures. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve independently inspecting safety-critical electrical systems, including power supplies, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems. You will conduct initial and periodic inspections of electrical installations and fixed equipment, document findings, and ensure that any identified deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field. Certification as a recognized expert for safety-related systems or VdS-expert is highly desirable; otherwise, willingness to undergo training is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in planning, construction, maintenance, or inspection of technical systems
  • Experience with relevant electrotechnical standards and building regulations is advantageous
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage regional inspection schedules

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to travel within the assigned region. Must be willing to obtain or hold official recognition as a state-authorized expert.
