Job Summary

This role at TÜV SÜD offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer or scientist to specialize in environmental measurement and emission monitoring. During an initial 6-12 month onboarding phase, you will gain hands-on experience in emission measurements, functional testing, and calibration of stationary measurement systems in compliance with German environmental regulations (BImSchG). Over time, you will evolve into a Project Manager, taking full responsibility for complex technical projects and managing client relationships. The position involves a significant amount of field work (60-70%) across Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, requiring a high degree of independence, reliability, and communication skills. Required Skills

Education

University degree or degree from a university of applied sciences with a focus on natural sciences or engineering.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in measurement technology, control engineering, and analytical technology preferred
  • Experience in managing technical projects or willingness to develop into a project lead role
  • Experience in field-based technical work and client-facing environments

  • Valid driver's license (Class B) required; readiness for frequent field travel (60-70%) with occasional overnight stays (20-30%) in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.
