Job Summary
The Technical University of Dresden is seeking a Research Associate to join the Chair of Inorganic Chemistry II. In this role, the successful candidate will conduct research focused on the synthesis of betaine-based ionic liquids or deep-eutectic solvents. Key responsibilities include characterizing these materials using advanced analytical techniques such as X-ray diffractometry, infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and thermal analysis. You will also investigate the solubility of metal-containing substances and perform electrochemical metal deposition. This position offers the unique opportunity for further academic qualification, typically leading to a PhD. Candidates should possess a strong background in chemistry, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative research team.
