Job Summary

The IT Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure for a prominent partner in the aerospace industry. In this day-to-day role, you will monitor server systems, manage Active Directory domains, and oversee virtualization environments including VMWare, Nutanix, and Citrix. You will be responsible for defining IT policies, negotiating vendor contracts, and resolving escalated help desk issues. Furthermore, you will coordinate with technicians and subcontractors to implement upgrades, manage security updates via Trellix and WSUS, and ensure licensing compliance. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in IT systems administration, including experience with Windows Server, SQL, and storage solutions.
