Job Summary

As an IT Hardware Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting aerospace projects for Airbus Defence and Space in Ulm. Your daily responsibilities include configuring hardware components, building and managing test environments, and evaluating new hardware technologies. You will be responsible for creating testing and adjustment protocols, performing incoming and outgoing hardware inspections, and collaborating with system engineering teams to select appropriate components for complex projects. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system integration. You will work within an innovative environment that values technical expertise and continuous learning. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with long-term professional experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT hardware and computer architectures
  • Practical experience with Linux operating systems, specifically RedHat
  • Experience in network technology and system integration is highly valued
