Job Summary

As a Photovoltaic Systems Planner, you will play a critical role in the PV Project Operations team, transforming existing properties into digital solar power plants. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing AC and DC electrical systems, creating circuit diagrams, calculating yield forecasts, and developing module layout and string plans. You will also coordinate with suppliers to define sub-structures and compile essential documentation for project approval. This role requires a strong technical background in building services engineering or electrical engineering, combined with proficiency in planning software like PV*SOL and AutoCAD. You will act as a central point of contact for clients, building planners, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are executed accurately. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a TGA (Building Services) planner or a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning of power generation or electrical systems preferred
  • Completed vocational training as a building services (TGA) planner or equivalent
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Alternatively, long-term practical experience in technical planning
