Job Summary
This role is for an SAP Application Manager with a strong focus on SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) to join a leading European defense company. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the planned S/4HANA migration, specifically by redesigning and expanding existing export control processes and integrating customs clearance via SAP GTS. Day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with implementation partners, designing and implementing solutions for foreign trade processes, supporting the operation of the GTS system post-launch, and providing 2nd-level support. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting national and international projects within a forward-thinking company that prioritizes innovation in sensor systems and digital solutions for defense and security applications.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable field
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as an application support specialist in SAP GTS or foreign trade processing with SAP Foreign Trade
- Experience in application management
- Experience in change management
- Knowledge of customs clearance processes
- Knowledge of export control processes
