Job Summary
This role involves supporting the urban infrastructure of Leipzig by maintaining, inspecting, and repairing critical electrical systems. You will work specifically with medium-voltage systems and cables, DC power systems, and specialized track control, signaling, and tramway overhead line infrastructure. A core part of your day-to-day work includes performing switching operations within the railway power supply network, executing mechanical connections using bolting techniques, and operating electrical hand tools. You will also be responsible for various transport tasks related to site operations. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional looking for a long-term perspective in a stable environment. The role offers the unique benefit of intensive on-site training by experienced colleagues, ensuring you are well-prepared for these technical responsibilities. You will work a standard 38-hour week, Monday through Friday, in a role that combines hands-on technical maintenance with essential infrastructure support.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in industrial electronics, mechatronics, or related electrical maintenance fields
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical infrastructure and signaling systems

- Must be team-oriented, resilient, and flexible. Must possess strong German language skills (written and spoken). Role is based in Leipzig, Germany.
