Job Summary

As a Shift Supervisor in the Traffic Surveillance Department of Mainz, you will play a vital role in ensuring public order and traffic safety. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing field service shifts, coordinating personnel assignments, and developing traffic monitoring concepts. You will provide guidance to field staff, handle citizen inquiries via phone and in-person, and actively participate in field operations. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte:r), completion of Administrative Course I, or a three-year vocational training program with the willingness to undergo further qualification as an Auxiliary Police Officer.

Experience

  • Professional experience in operational control or dispatching, preferably within emergency services (e.g., fire department or rescue services)
  • Experience in administrative tasks or field service operations
  • Professional experience in team coordination and personnel deployment

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license, willingness to work in uniform, willingness to work shifts (Monday to Sunday), and willingness to complete training as an Auxiliary Police Officer.
