Job Summary

The LUBW State Institute for the Environment Baden-Württemberg is seeking a Chemical Technical Assistant to join the 'Measurement Technology and Analytics' department in Karlsruhe. In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis of various environmental samples (air, water, soil) to detect organic trace substances. Daily tasks include sample preparation using automated systems, performing complex measurements with instruments such as HPLC, LC-MS-MS, GC-MS, and LC-HRMS, and managing data within the Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS). You will also handle quality assurance tasks and maintain laboratory equipment. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about environmental protection. You will work in a collaborative team environment, contributing to the monitoring of the Rhine and protecting natural resources. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a state-certified Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a quality-assured laboratory environment (e.g., DIN EN ISO 17025)
