Job Summary
As an Instrumentation and Control Technician at the Bundeswehr Service Center in Stetten, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing measurement and control components within building and operational technology systems at the Müllheim and Todtnau-Fahl locations. Your daily tasks include performing data backups, adjusting and expanding control systems, and monitoring central data and telecommunications transmission equipment. You will also participate in connecting building automation stations to central control hubs. This role requires a commitment to ongoing professional development and availability for on-call duty. The position offers a permanent contract within the German public service sector (TVöD), providing a stable career path with opportunities for health and fitness programs during working hours. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology or a related profession.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy and building technology or a related field
- Practical experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment
Languages
Additional
- Must possess a valid Class B driving license and be willing to operate Bundeswehr vehicles. Must be willing to undergo a medical examination for employment. Must commit to the liberal democratic basic order of the German Basic Law. Must be available for on-call duty. Requires submission of a certified German translation for any foreign-language documents.
