Job Summary

As an Offshore Electrical Engineering Specialist, you will play a critical role in the second-level support team, ensuring the reliable and safe operation of complex systems within offshore wind farms. Your daily responsibilities include performing maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on primary and secondary electrical components. You will conduct systematic fault analysis, oversee commissioning tasks, and manage technical documentation while ensuring safety standards are met. A key aspect of this role is acting as the responsible person for electrical installations (VDE 0105-100) and performing switching operations in medium and high-voltage networks. This position is ideal for a qualified master electrician or technician who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and is committed to advancing the energy transition. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training with a recognized certification as a Master Electrician or Electrical Technician.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in an electrical engineering environment
  • Proven experience with energy technology and power systems
  • Practical experience in secondary technology for substations and switchgear
  • Experience in performing switching operations in high and low voltage networks

Additional

  • Must reside within a 75 km radius of Oldenburg. Valid Class B driver's license. Must meet physical health requirements for offshore work according to AWMF guidelines. Willingness to participate in offshore campaigns (up to 14 days). Role requires acting as the designated person responsible for electrical systems (VDE 0105-100).
