Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and sustainable operation and management of power grid infrastructure within the Northwest regional center. Your day-to-day work involves coordinating switching requirements, developing operational concepts, and managing the commissioning and decommissioning of grid elements. You will act as a key point of contact during fault situations, conducting analysis and documentation for availability statistics. Additionally, you will support operational contract processes, provide guidance to authorized switching personnel, and conduct technical training and safety briefings. This position is unique as it places you at the heart of the energy transition, contributing to the power supply of over 18 million people. The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, a high sense of responsibility for grid safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
