Job Summary

As a Doctoral Researcher at the INM - Leibniz Institute for New Materials, you will work at the intersection of synthetic biology and materials science. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve engineering microorganisms to create living therapeutic systems, performing advanced molecular cloning, and conducting protein purification and characterization. You will assess bacterial viability using techniques like FACS and microscopy, and collaborate on in vivo testing in zebrafish models. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Solid background in microbial culture and bioprocesses.
  • Experience in an interdisciplinary or international research environment is highly valued.
