Job Summary
The Faculty of Computer Science at Landshut University of Applied Sciences is seeking a Laboratory Engineer to manage and develop IT and laboratory infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and ongoing development of computer labs, including software deployment, system rollouts, and license management. You will serve as the primary technical support contact for faculty and students, ensuring the smooth operation of digital services and research environments. Additionally, you will administer laboratory networks (LAN/WLAN/VLANs) and coordinate hardware and software procurement. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Computer Science, IT Systems Engineering, Electrical and Information Technology, or a comparable scientific or technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the administration of IT workstations and technical environments.
- Experience in an academic or laboratory setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in software deployment, rollout, and update processes.
- Proven experience in basic network administration and technical troubleshooting.
