Job Summary

The Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is seeking an Economist to join the 'Fundamental Issues of Economic Policy and Industry' department. In this role, you will analyze cyclical and structural economic developments, coordinate economic policy concepts, and draft key documents such as cabinet submissions, press releases, and speeches for ministry leadership. You will act as a bridge between the ministry, the State Chancellery, and other government departments to shape Bavaria's economic competitiveness. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep interest in political and economic current affairs, and the ability to communicate complex issues concisely. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or equivalent, minimum 300 ECTS) in Economics with a grade of 1.8 or better (German grading system).

Experience

  • Proven ability to work under time pressure and manage tight deadlines
