Job Summary

This role sits within the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, specifically within the unit for Economic Aid and Creative Industries. You will be responsible for managing project funding and shaping the framework conditions for the cultural and creative sectors, including software, games, and design. Your day-to-day involves supervising the 'CreativeTech Hub,' managing state awards for creative locations, and representing the Ministry in inter-state working groups. Additionally, you will play a critical role in crisis management by coordinating economic aid packages, such as energy hardship funds or future emergency subsidies. Required Skills

Education

University Diploma or Master’s degree (minimum 300 ECTS) in Business Administration, Economics, or Geography with a final grade of 1.8 or better.

Experience

  • Professional experience in economic development, regional planning, or public administration
  • Experience in managing funding projects or subsidies is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in handling complex analytical tasks and presenting concise results
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement or association work
  • Background in the cultural or creative industry sectors is beneficial
