Job Summary
As an AI Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of our metal casting facility. Your primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between production, OT, and IT by building a centralized, scalable data platform using Microsoft Fabric. You will integrate diverse data sources—including machine data, SAP, and quality systems—to enable advanced reporting, live analytics, and AI-driven applications like predictive quality and anomaly detection. You will develop, train, and validate machine learning models while ensuring data integrity and performance. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in an industrial environment and is passionate about industrializing data-driven solutions. You will collaborate across departments to establish standards and drive the scalability of our manufacturing intelligence, contributing directly to the future of automotive and industrial production.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on digitalization, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning methodologies.
- Professional experience with cloud-based data platforms and database management.
- Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration between IT, OT, and production departments.
