Job Summary
This working student position offers a unique opportunity to join a long-standing family-owned automotive and high-tech manufacturing company in its fifth generation. Day-to-day, you will be instrumental in analyzing existing data sources such as machine data, process parameters, and quality metrics to help build a centralized data infrastructure. You will work extensively with Microsoft Fabric to develop data lakes, pipelines, and reporting tools, while also creating data models and documenting architectural processes. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to interface directly with the production department to clarify requirements and data formats. Required Skills
Education
Enrolled student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Digitalization, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Basic knowledge in data management and databases
- Initial experience or strong interest in Cloud Data Platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Azure
- Understanding of industrial processes and automation is considered an advantage
- Experience in independent working and effective communication
