Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in the automation and control systems of our client's facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve programming control and IT systems, managing project automation, and performing commissioning and assembly work. You will be tasked with adapting existing software to meet changing requirements, designing process visualizations, and conducting functional tests. Additionally, you will provide technical support to maintenance teams regarding measurement, control, and regulation (MSR) technology, while also creating essential technical documentation like specifications and operating manuals. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in electrical or automation engineering who enjoys both independent project work and collaborative team environments. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Industrial Electrician, Technician, Master Craftsman, or a comparable qualification in the field of electrical or automation engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a comparable PLC programming or automation engineering position is desirable.
  • Practical experience in commissioning and assembly of control technology.
  • Experience in supporting maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
  • Experience in project work and interdisciplinary team collaboration.

Additional

  • Willingness to work in day shifts with on-call duty requirements. Knowledge of occupational safety and handling of hazardous materials (e.g., acids and alkalis) is preferred.
