Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and implementation of control systems and IT facilities within an automation environment. Your daily activities will include programming control units, creating process visualizations, and performing functional testing and commissioning of plant automation systems. You will play a critical role in adapting existing software to new requirements and supporting maintenance teams with measurement, control, and regulation technology (MSR) troubleshooting. This position is particularly attractive due to its stable 38.5-hour work week in a day-shift model, avoiding weekend work except for scheduled on-call duties. The role offers a permanent contract, holiday and Christmas bonuses, and a supportive environment focused on long-term professional development and health and safety.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Industrial Electronics Technician, State-certified Technician, Master Craftsman, or a comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a comparable position as a PLC Programmer or Automation Technician is desirable.
  • Experience in programming control and IT systems, including assembly and commissioning.
  • Experience in project planning and software adaptation for plant automation.
  • Experience in creating technical documents such as functional specifications and operating manuals.
