As a Development Engineer at Bosch Sensortec, you will play a pivotal role in expanding MEMS technology to 300mm wafer production. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve driving innovative technology developments, managing project schedules, and acting as a key customer interface. You will work within a collaborative team of experts, balancing hands-on work in clean rooms and laboratories with conceptual process development. A significant part of your role is bridging the gap between development and manufacturing, guiding projects from initial concepts through to series production readiness. You will also conduct feasibility assessments, partner with research institutes, and oversee quality standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed university studies (Master/Diploma/PhD) in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in sensor, micromechanics, or semiconductor technology
  • Proven experience in developing wafer processes for micromechanical products
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional interfaces between development and manufacturing teams
  • Experience in conducting technical and economic feasibility assessments
  • Experience in collaborating with research institutes for foundational development
