Job Summary

As a Development Engineer for Power Semiconductors in the automotive sector, you will be responsible for the development of innovative Si Power MOSFET components. Your day-to-day work involves characterizing these devices, verifying compliance with technical specifications, and performing in-depth analysis of manufacturing and electrical production test data, including Electrical Wafer Sort. You will act as a central point of contact, coordinating development tasks across internal teams—such as manufacturing and quality assurance—and engaging directly with customers. Beyond the initial release, you will provide ongoing development-side product support to ensure long-term success. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong foundation in semiconductor physics who is passionate about advancing automotive electronics within a collaborative, hybrid-working environment at Bosch.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the development of semiconductor components
  • Professional experience in power semiconductors (ideally)
  • Professional experience in semiconductor device physics and characterization
  • Professional experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes and automated data analysis (advantageous)
