Job Summary

As the Head of IT Professional Development, you will lead a team of over 10 staff members, overseeing all professional, personnel, and organizational matters within the IT training department. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing IT qualification concepts, managing budgets, overseeing procurement and tender processes, and preparing decision-making documents for executive leadership. You will act as a key interface between internal stakeholders and external education providers to ensure the workforce is prepared for a dynamic, technology-driven environment. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a passion for adult education and IT trends like AI, Cloud, and DevOps. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the career development of IT professionals within a large public organization, combining strategic planning with hands-on team leadership in a stable, long-term environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in IT, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Social Security; or a completed vocational training with an IT focus.

Experience

  • 2 years of recent leadership experience in the IT sector (e.g., Team Lead or Deputy Team Lead)
  • Professional experience in adult education with a focus on IT expertise is preferred
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience if holding a vocational IT qualification instead of a university degree
