Job Summary

As a UX/UI Designer at the German Pension Insurance (DRV), you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of public sector services. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and refining user interfaces for both internal and external digital products, conducting user research and data analysis to create user profiles, and advising product teams on UX best practices. You will bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring high-quality implementation while maintaining corporate design standards and contributing to the DRV Design System. This role is ideal for a creative professional who is passionate about Gov-Tech and user-centered design. You will work in interdisciplinary, agile teams to create intuitive online services, such as digital pension applications. Key requirements include a strong background in UX/UI design, proficiency in industry-standard prototyping tools, and the ability to facilitate workshops and stakeholder communication. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma FH) or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Media, Communication, Interaction Design, or UX Design; OR completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., Media Designer or IT Specialist).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in digital product development
  • Professional experience in UX or UI design within agile, iterative software development projects
  • Experience in the full design lifecycle from requirements gathering to quality assurance
