Job Summary
As a Technical Support Specialist for Public Transport Systems at kvgOF, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the technical infrastructure of our bus fleet in the Offenbach district. Your daily responsibilities include providing first-level support for operational systems such as ITCS (Intermodal Transport Control Systems), passenger information systems, ticketing equipment, and onboard Wi-Fi. You will act as the primary point of contact for system manufacturers and operators, while also contributing to digitalization projects and drafting technical documentation for procurement. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background who is passionate about mobility and public service. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, IT Systems Technician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in technical support or maintenance of operational systems
- Proven experience in managing technical interfaces and workflows within public transport environments
- Experience in project coordination, including monitoring budget, timelines, and documentation
- Professional experience in collaborating with external system manufacturers and hosting partners

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must be able to work in a full-time capacity. The position is initially limited to one year with a planned permanent transition.
