Job Summary
This leadership position at Kreisverkehrsgesellschaft Offenbach mbH (kvgOF) involves overseeing the financial health and strategic planning for public transport in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region. As the Head of Finance and Controlling, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for financial accounting, billing, and reporting. Your daily operations will include managing economic and financial planning, coordinating audits, and preparing HGB-compliant financial statements. A significant part of the role focuses on strategic advisory for the management board regarding investment decisions and the modernization of IT structures through ERP, BI, and AI integration. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Business Administration or Commercial studies with a focus on Finance/Accounting, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in auditing firms or administration-related structures
- Proven experience in team leadership and financial management
- Experience in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Experience in economic and financial planning and reporting to supervisory boards
- Experience in process optimization and digital transformation within finance departments

- The role is located in Dietzenbach with a planned start in the second half of 2026. Flexible working models between 24 and 39 hours per week are available during the two-year transition phase.
