Job Summary

As a Lighthouse Technician with the Baltic Sea Waterways and Shipping Authority, you will play a critical role in maintaining the maritime infrastructure that ensures safe navigation along the German Baltic coast. Your daily responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on lighthouse systems, beacons, emergency power supplies, and radio-based sensor technology. You will also manage IT components for data transmission, ensure compliance with IT security standards, and conduct electrical safety inspections according to VDE standards. This position is unique as it involves working with historic landmarks and essential maritime safety equipment in diverse locations.
