Job Summary
Join the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) at the Zeuthen campus as an Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the campus's electrical infrastructure, playing a key role in the 'Future-Proof Campus' project. You will lead elektrotechnical projects, supervise external contractors, manage budgets and schedules, and provide technical guidance to specialized staff. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline, or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy supply systems for medium and low voltage
- Practical experience in electrical supply networks and control technology
- Experience in project management and coordination of technical construction projects
- Experience in supervising external planners and specialized firms
Languages
Additional
- Must be eligible to work in Germany. Knowledge of German construction and procurement standards (HOAI, VOB) is required.
