Job Summary

The Technical Assistant will provide essential support for experimental research at the Chair of Cell and Tissue Control within the 'Physics of Life' Cluster of Excellence at TU Dresden. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing molecular and cell biological experiments, such as producing recombinant DNA constructs and cultivating mammalian cell lines. Beyond experimental work, the role involves critical laboratory management duties, including ensuring occupational safety, handling procurement, organizing laboratory events and workshops, and training new group members, students, and interns. Candidates must possess formal vocational training as a biological-technical or chemical-technical assistant and have a solid foundation in molecular and cell biology.
