Job Summary

As a Research Engineer at Bosch, you will be at the forefront of developing intelligent systems by bridging the gap between Reinforcement Learning (RL) and Agentic AI. Your day-to-day work involves architecting and deploying sophisticated AI models, fine-tuning multi-modal large models, and integrating generative AI with robust RL algorithms to solve real-world challenges in automated driving, smart home systems, and advanced manufacturing. You will lead high-impact research projects, collaborate with cross-functional product teams to deliver MVPs, and contribute to the global scientific community through publications. Required Skills

Education

PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field

Experience

  • Professional experience in Deep Reinforcement Learning and behavioral learning
  • Proven track record in Agentic AI and working with large models (LLMs, VLMs, VLAs)
  • Professional experience in software development within larger teams
  • Experience in the deployment of ML-based systems for real-world solutions
  • Experience with advanced fine-tuning methods (SFT, DPO, RLHF)
