Job Summary

As a Permit Management Engineer at Stromnetz Berlin, you will play a critical role in maintaining and modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power grid. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing contractual and property-related agreements for the use of third-party land, negotiating rights, and ensuring legal compliance for infrastructure projects. You will act as the primary point of contact for property owners, government authorities, and internal departments, overseeing the entire permitting process for substations and network nodes. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical engineering knowledge and legal expertise in property and energy law. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Business Administration, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a relevant field such as permit management, property rights, or energy infrastructure.
  • Experience in handling administrative law matters and communicating with government authorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and legal documentation.

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license (optional but preferred). Knowledge of land registry (Grundbuch) and cadastre systems is a plus. Knowledge of transitional law in the new federal states is a plus.
