Job Summary
Rhein-Chemotechnik GmbH is seeking a dedicated Chemical or Paint Laboratory Technician to join their research and application technology department in Breitscheid. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and testing of formulations specifically for concrete chemistry and surface coatings. Your day-to-day work will involve planning, executing, and analyzing laboratory and pilot plant experiments, as well as conducting technical application tests both in-house and at customer sites. You will document results, refine testing methodologies, and manage raw material procurement while collaborating closely with suppliers and project teams. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in chemical or paint technology who thrives in a collaborative, mid-sized environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), Paint Laboratory Technician (Lacklaborant), or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Paint Laboratory Technician, or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in concrete chemistry or industrial coatings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise in the development of coating systems is considered an advantage
- Ability to work independently and maintain a structured approach to laboratory tasks
