Job Summary
As an IT Systems Engineer at our Saarbrücken state office, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing development and optimization of our IT infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing our data center environment, refining our network and firewall systems, and overseeing the Microsoft Windows server landscape. You will act as a 3rd-level support expert, evaluating complex technical incidents and collaborating with service providers. Additionally, you will lead IT projects, implement new software solutions, and assist with 2nd-level support as needed. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical work and strategic infrastructure development. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or vocational training in IT, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as an IT System Administrator or IT Systems Engineer
- Proven experience in managing Microsoft server environments and network infrastructure
- Experience with software management and proactive IT monitoring
- Experience in executing IT projects and technical documentation
