Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Building Automation Systems Technician to join the Main-Taunus-Kreis Building and Property Management Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and programming building automation systems and GLT networks across the county's properties. Key duties include overseeing inspection and maintenance, preparing tenders for measurement, control, and regulation (MCR) and network technology, and providing expert support for new construction, expansion, and renovation projects. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills in building automation, IT affinity, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Required Skills

Education

Completed technician, master, or bachelor degree (DQR 6 equivalent) in a trade profession related to technical building equipment (TGA) with a relevant specialization.

Experience

  • Professional experience in programming and operating building automation systems, preferably in the object/property sector
  • Experience in collaborating with internal and external specialist planning teams
  • Experience in overseeing inspection and maintenance work

  • Must be willing to use personal car for field service and participate in on-call duty for the building services group. For foreign degrees, a certificate evaluation from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) confirming equivalence to a German degree is required.
