The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is seeking a Software and IT Architect to join their 'Metrology for Digital Transformation' department in Berlin-Charlottenburg. In this role, you will contribute to the development of digital, machine-readable certificates and digital quality infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing and implementing prototypical software tools for digital calibration certificates (DCC), designing roles and processes for data spaces, and extending existing demonstrators to support W3C-standard verifiable credentials. You will work in an agile team environment, collaborating on research-driven projects that set global standards for measurement. The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics, combined with practical experience in full-stack development, distributed systems, and modern CI/CD workflows.
