This role is for a dedicated Biology Laboratory Technician to join the Structural Biochemistry group at a leading European university's Institute of Biochemistry in Cologne. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting cutting-edge research focused on understanding protein conformational changes through molecular cryo-electron microscopy. Day-to-day tasks include cloning, expressing, and purifying proteins, assisting with sample preparation and analysis using transmission electron microscopy, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The position also involves essential administrative and organizational duties such as ordering supplies and managing logistics.
