Job Summary

The City of Unna is seeking an IT Systems Engineer or System Integration Specialist to join the Information and Communication department within the Fire Protection and Rescue Services office. Your day-to-day duties will involve managing HP-based network structures, ensuring high availability through server clusters and SAN systems, and overseeing virtualization environments. You will also manage firewall security via Fortinet, perform infrastructure monitoring using Nagios/CheckMK, and support the department's IT strategy. This position is vital for maintaining systems that support emergency services, requiring participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation.
