Job Summary

The City of Oelde is seeking a dedicated Network and System Administrator to join their thirteen-member IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and further development of the municipal IT infrastructure, supporting approximately 450 workstations, mobile devices, and educational technology across various city facilities. You will manage a diverse environment featuring fiber-optic connections, virtualized Windows and Linux servers, and a strong focus on open-source solutions to ensure digital sovereignty. Day-to-day tasks include administering server landscapes, optimizing LAN/WLAN networks, maintaining Microsoft infrastructure services like Active Directory, and contributing to IT security concepts.
