Job Summary
This role involves joining a 13-member IT team for the City of Oelde, acting as the primary point of contact for system and user support across 420 workstations. You will manage the full lifecycle of client hardware and software within a modern infrastructure featuring fiber-optic connections, virtualized Windows servers, and a mix of proprietary and open-source solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include resolving first-level support tickets, administering Active Directory user accounts, and maintaining IT equipment in administrative offices and local schools. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable recognized qualification.
Experience
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable qualification
- Ideally several years of professional experience in IT support, preferably using a ticket system
- Professional experience with Windows operating systems, client hardware, and peripheral devices
- Experience in managing user accounts and access permissions in Active Directory
