This full-time, two-year position focuses on advanced theoretical solid-state physics, specifically the programming and implementation of transport calculation methods. The successful candidate will conduct research on spin and orbital transport phenomena in two- and three-dimensional solid-state systems, model Rashba systems, and investigate orbital magnetism. Beyond research, the role involves teaching undergraduate or graduate seminars (4 SWS) and mentoring students. You will be responsible for publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at academic conferences.
