Job Summary
The Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg is seeking a part-time (50%) Research Associate to join the Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. In this three-year fixed-term position, you will conduct research focused on the characterization of enzymes involved in plant phosphoinositide metabolism and analyze protein complexes regulating cytoskeleton organization. Your daily responsibilities will include investigating enzyme activity, post-translational modifications, cellular localization, and various protein-protein and protein-lipid interactions. Additionally, you will contribute to university teaching activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for further scientific qualification within a highly networked research environment. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Biochemistry or a related field and possess specialized technical expertise in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and plant-based experimental techniques.
